The Syracuse University Park for Innovation and Research offers the ultimate competitive advantage, as well as an opportunity to participate in a dynamic technological relationship with Syracuse University. Fifteen acres of Syracuse University's park has been designated as part of the Empire Zone. The Empire Zone offers considerable tax benefits to institutes building within that zone. The park is being developed as a cooperative project between Syracuse University and the Metropolitan Development Association (MDA), which represents the business leadership of Central New York.
